- I think this is correct, or maybe it is Ferraris. It's a
- paperback with picture of a Ferrari (the sports car) on the front

- Another book geared towards Fortran users is "Scientific and
- Engineering C++" by John Barton and Lee Nackman, also published by
- Addison/Wesley. I've been recommending this book as part of my C++
- course for particle physicists. I think it is a better book.

- Either one of them is much better, IMHO, for a working Fortran
- programmer to learn C++ than the "classic" C++ books such as Lippman
- or Stroustrup. They both use examples from the problem domain that
- has been done with Fortran in the past.
